“Why do I stand up here? Anybody? … I stand upon my desk to remind myself that we must constantly look at things in a different way.”
I started this blog too long ago, with the full intention of blogging my journey to becoming a qualified teacher, amongst other daily ponderings. Unfortunately, however, it was forgotten along the way, somewhere under the piles of paperwork and arduous admin tasks, and I didn’t manage to begin writing. I am now mere weeks away from completing my NQT year. This fact in itself, is truly terrifying.
I am currently 24 years old. I am a bibliophile. I am a Harry Potter fanatic and you can win my heart with Nandos. There is, as ever, more to know, but that covers the basics.
I have, in the process of becoming a teacher, realised that I need to take the time to enjoy more time for me. I am writing to help me to remember why I ‘stand upon my desk’ – why I must constantly look at things in new and exciting ways.
“Happiness can be found even in the darkest of times, when one only remembers to turn on the light.” – Albus Dumbledore
Consider this my light.
